Raising his gaze to check whoever it was, he was met with a pair of amber eyes, glaring down at him. He gulped down nothing nervously, as his heartbeat increased, the danger in his eyes sent shivers down his spine. For the first time in his entire life, he was scared of someone. He had been this brave man even if he was born cursed as he had always said, but now it seems like he had been ripped off his guard. "What are you doing, Jeremy?" Ariana snapped at him angrily, springing to her feet while glaring hard at him, and he only scoffed. "Ari, why not stay out of this, huh?" He glanced at her and said before turning his attention to Roan, who was just watching him display his drama. He tried coming up with the possible reason behind his action, but he couldn't place why he was doing this, so he just watched him. "Hey! Get up!" He said in his usual commanding tone, standing on his feet and tucking his hands in his pockets while having a smirk on his face. Roan sighed and stood up as he was told to while waiting for what he was going to do next. "What the hell do you think you're doing, Jeremy?" Ari yelled again, but the young man didn't give her any attention. Turning around, he started walking out of the room with the other guys, while Roan followed them from behind. Of course, he needed no one to tell him that he had to follow them. As much as he wanted to fight for himself, he couldn't bring himself to do such a thing. He was born to be bullied, so everyone is free to do that, if he wasn't born to be bullied, then he wouldn't be born without a wolf. He was ready to take whatever it is that was thrown at him. As he walked behind them, tears welled up in his eyes, but he fought them back. There's no way he was going to cry in front of these young men, he knows that they're more powerful than him, and crying before them will only prove how pathetic he was. Meanwhile, Jeremy maintained a straight face as he walked along the hallway with his friends. He had been in love with Ariana from the first time she had stepped into the school, and seeing her with someone else, is what he wouldn't take. He had killed every man that tried getting close to her, and Roan wouldn't be an exception. After walking for what seemed like forever, they finally climbed the stairs till they got to the school rooftop, where chairs were arranged around a glass table. He walked over to the most beautiful chair and sat down, crossing his legs, followed by the rest of them, while Roan was left standing like a drenched puppy. "I'll ask you one question, and don't you dare keep me waiting," Jeremy said in a cold voice filled with a dark and intimidating aura while staring into space dangerously. "What were you doing with Ariana?" He asked, and Roan whose gaze have been on the floor, finally raised it to look at him unbelievably. He never knew that all this was because of the lady that have been bothering him. "What do you mean?" Roan asked confusingly, wondering what he was talking about. "What's your name and what pack are you from?" He asked, and Roan swallowed hard. He couldn't bring himself to disgrace his parents in the presence of these four men and before the school. An Alpha son can't be bullied, right? Telling them that the one they've been bullying, is the son of the alpha of the moonstone pack, the most powerful man of the most powerful pack, and yet his son is a weakling, that'll only tarnish his image, right? "You wouldn't want to keep me waiting," He spoke calmly while staring into space, but with much intensity in his voice. Anyone could feel the anger in his voice, the aura was enough to send anyone to their early grave. "My name is Roan Vand..." He stopped halfway to think of a perfect name to give him. Telling him his surname would only make him know his identity, and that was the last thing he wanted. "My name is Roan, I'm not from any pack," Roan replied while praying silently that they just let go of this. "I ask again, what were you doing with Ariana?" He asked the question again, and Roan gulped down nothing, knowing that he was in trouble. Silence assumed the air, Roan's fast heartbeat could clearly be heard. "Climb the rail," He finally spoke up after a long silence, and Roan was forced to raise his gaze for the second time, but this time he was met with his dangerous eyes, a deadly smirk was playing at the corner of his lips. Roan's heart skipped like a million times, and slowly he tilted his head to look at the rail of the rooftop. Without checking it out, he knew that the building was high and almost like a tower. He gulped down the lump that formed in his throat before returning his gaze to him, and as expected, he was still looking at Roan with a smirk playing on his lips. As much as he wanted to fight for himself, he knew that it would be pointless, knowing that he would just end up wasting his time. There's no way he could fight four men that have been said to be strong, have magical powers, and can shift into their wolf form, right? Maybe it was the best decision. After all, he can finally leave this cruel world. It's better to die than live a miserable life like this, but then, the thought of his parents breaks his heart, the thought of the pain they would be through losing their only child hurts him. Walking over to the rail, he glanced at Jeremy to see him still smirking. He took a deep breath and started climbing the rail and soon, he was standing on the rail boldly. At this point, he didn't care if he died or not. The pain he has been through over the years is worse than death, so it's fine if he finally dies. "Jump!" Jeremy said in his usual commanding tone, as his eyes bore into space, not letting that devilish smirk off his face. This is what he had done to any man that ever dared to go close to Ariana, this is the brutal death he had always given them, and no one ever dares to question his decision or whatever he does. "Roan!" Ariana called in shock, as she barged into the rooftop and her mouth dropped open at the sight she beheld...
