I stare into space as tears slid down my cheeks. His words keep replaying in my head with every seconds that passes by.

After the death of Alpha Adolph's first wife, he has been single for years and taking care of the son that she left behind for him. However, things took another turn the day the other two friends were supposed to meet the woman that have been making their dear friend so happy lately.

It was supposed to be a thing of joy and celebration, but something terrible happened. The lady turned out to be alpha Dean's mate. Everyone was shocked at the turn of event. Alpha Dean tried talking to Adolph to stay away from Leila, which was the name of the lady, but Adolph was persistent. He loved Leila so much that he wasn't ready to leave her for anyone. Leila had known that she was alpha Dean's fated mate, but because of the love she had for Adolph, she wasn't ready to give up. After so much efforts to break the two apart failed, alpha Dean declared war against alpha Adolph, which claimed many lives of the people of the blue moon pack, including alpha Adolph, leaving behind his only son and successor, Valdez, who later became the alpha of the blue moon pack.

For the fear of being conquered again, alpha Valdez never thought of avenging the death of his people and his late father. Of course, he couldn't take up alpha Dean in a fight, knowing he wasn't someone he can mess with and won't regret later. All the time that alpha Dean was at logherhead with alpha Adolph, alpha Nicolai never got involved in it, neither did he ever make any effort to calm the situation as at that time, knowing that alpha Dean would take it personal if he had done that, and may declare war against his pack.

For over twenty years, alpha Valdez ruled blue moon pack in peace, but the war started again, when alpha Dean found out that Leila had a son for Adolph secretly before she died. Dean attacked blue moon pack and killed almost everyone, but couldn't lay his hands on Leila's child, which left him angry. Valdez lost his life during the attack. Not long After the death of Valdez, the throne was passed on to Vandette, who later becane the alpha of blue moon pack and restored the glory of the pack, by defeating alpha Dean and his people when they wage war fifteen years later after he was crowned. For the first time in history, someone defeated the almighty alpha Dean and made him look like a piece of trash.

They thought that it was all over, however, two months after the war between the two enemy packs, alpha Vandette realized that he had been infected and poisoned by wolfbane. When he was taken to the physician for the poison to be nullified with spell, the physician who was also a priest, discovered something. There was a generational spell that had been laid on the late Alpha Adolph, which has been passed on to Vandette.

For over twenty years, Vandette remained childless and all effort to find solution to his predicament proved abortive. However, after so many years of waiting, a witch finally helped the Luna, but she was given a condition. The condition was that she was going to have a son, but because of the indestructible spell on him, the child will remain wolfless and weak for the rest of his life. The Luna have been pained for the years of her life that she didn't have a child, and out of desperation, she agreed to the condition without thinking twice.

Now I know why Levi brought me here, he wanted me to know everything and know how to deal with it. All these years I've been in the dark, now I have answers to all my questions, now I know the truth about everything. All these years, I have been thinking that I was cursed, but now I know that I am really cursed and too bad that there's nothing that can be done about it. What an ill luck I have.

I sigh briefly and close my eyes. I've been wondering how king Felix got to know so much about this, I wonder who told him all of this, I so much want to question him, but then so many things is already going on in my mind and I can't possibly bring myself to ask him any question.
