He came!

1065 Words
Roan walk briskly along the veranda, taking the direction that was described to him. It didn't take him much time until he locates the infirmary. He storms in and heads straight to the receptionist, a lady standing behind the counter. "Hi! I'm looking for Ariana Walker," He asks worriedly, and the young lady points in the direction. He rushes off. He walks through the hallway briskly, trying to locate the rook she must be inside but stopped abruptly as the noise coming from one of the rooms gets his attention. "You traitor! I thought you're my brother and you're supposed to keep my secret, huh? How could you go to the extreme length of betraying me even if you don't like Roan!" Ariana yelled from inside. Her voice sounds like someone that has been crying. "What are you talking about, Ari?" Alex's innocent voice asks confusingly, and scoff tears through her throat. "Oh shut up, Alex. How could you still act like you're innocent when it's so obvious that you're guilty, huh? You know what? Get the heck away from me, I don't wanna see you or anyone again. I don't think I have a family anymore, because you, mother and father are just hellbent on ruining me. But listen to me, Alex. I told father and I'm telling you now if anyone dares to lay a finger on Roan, I promise to draw my sword at whoever it is. Get out!" She yells angrily. Roan sigh deeply and ruffle his hair slowly. He turns around and walks away without even bothering to check her anymore. Her words keep replaying in his head as he strides to the exit door and exits the infirmary. This feels so weird, no one has ever told him something like that, and it's driving him crazy already. All through the day in school, he keeps thinking of Ariana and all effort to get her off his head proves abortive... Ariana Walker I watch as Alex leaves the room sadly. Tears trickle down my cheeks and I wipe them off. I wonder why they're doing this to me, they don't even care about how I'll feel about this whole thing, but the only thing they care about is their reputation. The knock on the door pulls my attention and I roll my eyes, having perceived the scent of the person. It's Jeremy. Can he just get the fact that I do not want to see him? What's so difficult to understand? I usher him in. The door creaks open and he peeks in before walking inside fully. The look on my face explains to him that his presence is not welcome here. I wonder why he won't leave me the hell alone. Life is like an ocean, I used to love this same guy with everything in me, my world used to revolve around him, he used to be my everything, funny enough how I hate him so much now even more than a plague. Well, don't blame me because it was all his fault. "Hi!" He smiles faintly at me and I just glare at him. "I hope you know that you're not welcomed here, right?" I turn my face away as I roll my eyes. Seconds slowly tick into minutes before he finally walks over to the chair beside the bed and sits down. "I know you hate me now, I know my presence irritates you and I'm not trying to blame you for anything, because I messed up a big time. Even if you hate me now, I was the cause of it all. Ari... I never stopped loving you, not even for a day. I'm sorry about everything, I know we can give this a chance again...we can...we can make this work. I love you, Ari... I want to be with you, we can forget the past and focus on the present and build our future together..." "There's no future for us, Jeremy. Do you realize what you're saying? And who said that we can make this work? You think I would be so stupid to give you a chance again in my life, even if you're the last man on earth? I stopped loving you, the moment you hurt me. I know the pain I went through because of you, I know the pain I went through, trying to forget you and move on with my life. You think I would go back to that now that I finally move on? My heart belongs to someone else now..." "Does he feel the same way for you? Does he want you the same way that you want him? You think that he will still push you away if he really feels the same way for you? Why are you doing this?" His words pierce through my heart and I hold the duvet tightly. He's right anyways, Roan doesn't want me, he made it obvious that he doesn't like me, but still I can't bring myself to distance myself from him, I can't get him off my head no matter how much I try to. All I want is him, and there's no one else. "It's funny and crazy how you ignore this fact and act like nothing is happening. How could you be forcing yourself on someone who doesn't even..." "Enough!" I yell, snapping my head to look at him. His words are hurting me already, can't he see that? "I'm sorry. But I hope you can accept the truth and move on with your life. Be fine and make sure you take your medication. Excuse me," He stands up and strides out of the room. I burst into tears as soon as he's out of sight. The thought of alpha Dean flashes through my mind more tears trickle down my cheeks. What if I end up being with him? What if father insists that I be with him? At this point, I'm losing all hope. Roan doesn't even care about me, he keeps pushing me away and never wants to see me. The door suddenly opens and I freeze on the spot as I behold the person that is standing in the doorway. Butterflies fill my abdomen as a strong wave of excitement spur through me. I stare at him as a smile slowly laces up my lips. He came! Roan came to see me...
