Alora’s POV
We woke up the next morning in the same position we had started our night in. My body ached from the hard cave floor and I longed for the beds on the boat again. I wanted to sleep in a bed again. I was over this hard ground camping adventure. I’m sure everyone was.
Calum and I stood up and walked over to look out of the mouth of the cave. There we were greeted with the sight of fresh snow. I was thankful that the troll family had found us and had us stay with them.
Calum looked at me and took my hand in his before pulling me to him. I wrapped my arm around his torso as we stood there and looked out over the white covered area. He kissed my forehead and hugged me tightly. I reveled in the feeling of being in his arms again. I had always known this was where I belon
