Nadia’s POV “Moses, do you agree to what I have said?” I heard my father’s loud voice as I hurriedly rushed to the main hall. “Yes, Alpha. I shall get married to Rosa as planned.” My jaw dropped as soon as I heard his statement. I stood at the entrance, unable to walk forward with my eyes staring at them. “Thank you so much dad, for granting us this marriage.” Rosa said with a voice filled with excitement. “Father!” I cried out in agony, approaching them as they turned to me with astonishment on their faces. Rosa hid behind Moses while he faced the ground, my father quickly jumped from his throne as he was excited to see me. “Nadia! You are back.” He pulled me into a warm embrace, even though I was comfortable, I succumbed because inwardly I missed my father. “How are you?” He pulled away from me with his warm hands on my face. “Dad, is this the time for that?” I sniffled. “Did I hear you correctly? You of all people know that I love Moses so much and we are destined to be together. Can you not do this to me?” I cried out bitterly and he sighed heavily. “Nadia darling, how about you let him be with your junior sister? I have good men for…” My father didn’t finish his statement when Rosa interrupted him. “Thanks father.” She grabbed Moses’s arm and left the hall with him, I wasn’t able to stop him because he intentionally ignored me and acted as though we had nothing in common. “Father…” I called out to him as he walked back to his seat. “Nadia, I know you went through tribulation for Moses but now, things have changed and the current solution to get him married to Rosa. I have a better partner for you.” My father said and I sighed, shaking my head. “Impossible.” I retorted. “Do you even know the pain, humiliation and mistreatment I passed through in other to make sure we are compatible? Father, everyone know what I sacrificed in other to give Moses and I a chance and in the end, you want to give him away to someone?” I cried out in annoyance, staring at him intently. “You just said it yourself, you both are not compatible! It’s time to stop trying!” He yelled at my face in anger, showing me his true self and I smirked. “Seriously? Then, what was the tribulation for? Waste of my five years or what?” I questioned him in contempt. I couldn’t persaude my father so I decided to sleep it off and hope that he would have a change of heart. I also wasn’t able to visit Moses, because his mansion was heavily guarded. The following morning, my arrival had already been told to the pack members so everyone was up to welcome me. I felt so happy to be back home. The elders were excited for my return as I was one of the best Beta when it come to fighting and making decisions. I walked over to my father, inwardly hoping he had finally come to an agreement towards my plea. Soon, Moses stepped in with Rosa, my heart boiled. “Isn’t he Beta Nadia’s mate?” “She suffered tribulation just to make sure they are mates.” The pack members started murmuring between themselves. “My lord, whats your decision towards this? Since Nadia is back, it’s time to approve her marriage with Moses.” One of the elders said vividly and my father sighed. Walking forward, everyone was anxious. “Nadia is not getting married to Moses.” My father said confidently and I faced him. “Father.” I called him out. “We are all aware that Nadia and Moses are not compatible. No matter the amount of trials she go through, they can never be together. It is better to let Moses move on rather than waiting for her, look, he is compatible with Rosa so we have to let them be.” I couldn’t believe that such statement was coming from my father, my eyes became wet and my feeling erupt. “Father, that wasn’t the initial agreement! Besides, the moon goddesss already gave us a second chance.” I said seriously, flashing my hand at his face. On it was a star mark, which was a sign that Moses and I have been approved. I was sure that Moses also had a similar mark. “My lord, Nadia has suffered o much. We can’t afford to offend her.” A pack member said, defending me. “My lord, please give them a chance. Lady Nadia has suffered so much, it is ideal to approve their relationship.” Another pack member protested. Everyone was speaking for me and urging my father to make a right decision since it was unfair for someone that spent years, fighting for the man she loved. “My decision is final. Moses is getting married to Rosa.” My father said vividly, stopping everyone from completing their statement. I approached him with fire burning in my eyes. I can be a very good daughter but I was one kind of person that hate it when I was being used or trampled on. My father knew me more than anyone, when I wanted something, I made sure I get it. “Today, I’m taking Moses back and no one can stop me.” I said seriously, gritting my teeth as our gaze locked. He swallowed hard. “And if I refuse?” He questioned me anxiously. “I will bring this entire pack underneath and you know what I mean.” I said curtly, ignoring the fact that he was my father. “Before killing ourselves, we should at least know if this is also what Moses wants. Right?” Suddenly, Rosa’s voice came up. Everyone faced her and it dawned on me that I forgot the real deal. Why didn’t I think of such an idea? He loved me and I knew my father was forcing him to marry Rosa. “True! True!” Everyone agreed and my father turned to him. “Moses, do you wish to be with Nadia?” My father exhaled sharply after his statement. I focused on Moses with curiosity lancing in my eyes.
