I pressed my lips and walked on to Jeremy who was offended by Nadia's proclamation. I had an apologetic look which he sighed off because no one has ever said such to him.
Jeremy was a people's person and it was difficult to be rejected by anyone but Nadia had done the opposite.
"I am sorry Jeremy. Nadia is a bit new to things, you see she isn't fully healed from her condition. I am sure she will like you when she gets well," I tried to appease him in order to save me time.
