Nadia POV
Lily and I stared down at Santiago's sleeping face. He looked so calm and gentle. For some reason, I had the urge to kiss him but canceled the thought because of Lily's presence.
"We should let him sleep. I think he is completely worn out. Can you believe that he stayed up all night studying? He is too stubborn for my liking," I complained to Lily who didn't mind my tantrums.
"That is why he is the best doctor here in Long Hospital. But his superiors give him a hard time and never acknowledge his hard work. I feel so sorry for him. Now what are we going to do about the apple? We cannot disturb his precious sleep," she sadly said.
"I will try. Let us go back to the kitchen dear. Who knows we might find someone to help us," I added and she beamed taking my hand again
