I slowly blinked my eyes open regaining my vision. The stress of standing and working had a heavy weight on my shoulders to the extent that I passed out.
Sitting up on one of the hospital beds, I found Nadia sleeping soundlessly beside me. She was calm yet hostile in her sleep. What an ironic combination.
Without making a sound, I sneaked out of the bed preventing Nadia from waking up. Now that I was done with the surgery, I had a panel to face.
