Nadia POV
I tried to remove my hand from Santiago's hold but he tightened his hand around mine.
"Don't try to run from me, Nadia," he softly said as we continued to walk down the hallway.
It was obvious that he was trying to tease the hell out of me. And he was doing it perfectly well because I couldn't stop the way my heart pounded repeatedly.
"At least tell me where we are going," I whined embarrassed that he was holding my hand. My legs were slowly melting and my stomach constantly churned each time I felt his thumb rub the back hand.
He made me feel nervous without trying hard. If he was going to question me about the mate issue then I won't hesitate to pass out.
