Santiago’s POV I stood fixed by the door on seeing what Nadia had turned into. She was wailing in pain and hiding away from me. Instead of running or being terrified, I felt hurt by the sight of her groaning constantly. I took slow steps towards her and she flinched moving backwards as if I was going to hurt her. "Nadia it is okay, you can trust me. See I have nothing on me and I won't dare to hurt you," I said coming closer to her. At a point she had a doubtful look in her eyes but when she noticed that my intentions were genuine, she leaned forward and let me hold her. She was in severe pain and the only thing I could do was cuddle her. Since she was what I think she is, I guessed the lunar night was what affected her. I felt bad for the way I treated her lately.
