Alex's POV It had been almost twenty-four hours. Twenty-four hours since Jaxon had walked out that door, twenty-four hours since I’d pushed him too far, and twenty-four hours since I’d seen him last. I hated that I was counting, but I couldn’t help it. Every minute he stayed away, the guilt inside me grew bigger.
