Alex's POV It had been a few days since my fight with Jaxon, and even though we shared a room, I’d barely seen him since that night, and I had a strong feeling he’d gone back to sleeping in that cave of his. I didn’t have proof, but the signs were all there. His bed never looked used in the morning, and the room felt way too quiet for two people sharing it. Every time I thought about asking him if he’d really gone back there, the timing never felt right.
