Collision and Strawberry Frappuccino's

“Here’s your order. Just call if you want your coffee refilled, miss”. Abby said with a smile. My eyes must have formed a heart shape. The food looks really yummy! I gave a big smile to Abby. “Muchas gracias Abby!” While I was busy admiring the food, Abby then went to the guy’s table to refill his coffee. I immediately dug in. I was so hungry. I closed my eyes to savor the feeling of the torrijas. “Hmm.” I said then nodded as a sign of approval. I noticed a stare and found that the same guy I was staring at just a while ago was looking at me with a small tug of lips. Barely, but it was visible. He looked amused for some reason. I raised a brow at him but continued eating. I may seem calm, but deep inside I was freaking out. I focused my attention on the food in front of me and ate some more, not minding anymore. After eating the torrijas (which was the best toast I have ever tasted), I took a sip of the macchiato. It tastes really good too. I’m not even surprised at this point, I already knew it was gonna taste as bomb as the toast. When I finished eating, I called Abby for the check, after she served drinks at a nearby table. I took a glance at the guy’s table and didn’t notice he had already left. I just shrugged and left the cafe after paying. __________________ After roaming the area near the cafe, I found a small art exhibit that piqued my interest. The aura of the place was really calm and peaceful, maybe that’s why I got curious. It wasn’t the usual fancy exhibits that I used to go to, but something about it felt homey. The walls were made of brick and contrasted with the other interior inside. The adjacent walls were filled with colorful paintings, both sides had 4 sets of paired up tables with chairs, and in the middle were two small couches facing each other with a small table to separate it. The place was decorated with warm toned fairy lights and some twig-like designs, and a bar was placed at the end of the cafe. I loved it. I took a seat on one of the chairs on the left side of the wall. I held my chin in my hands as I looked at the paintings hung near me. One painting caught my attention. It was black and white with two human-like structures, forehead to forehead, it was shaped in a way that the man faced the other side of the moon, just like the woman. A small tree was in between them like they were separated by something, but even with that obstacle they managed to be with each other. I was awed by the deep meaning of the painting, and spaced out for a couple minutes. Blinking my eyes, to refocus, I saw a woman a bit taller than me enter the premises. She had medium-length blonde hair, and was wearing a white halter top, a leather jacket, high-waist jeans and some heeled boots. She looked so chic. She must have noticed me looking at her so I smiled. A friendly smile greeted me back. I realized I hadn't ordered yet, so I quickly approached the bar counter. A man in his early 20’s was at the counter with a barista apron on. He was tall with black hair and brown eyes, and thick brows. “Hello, welcome to Deiz Art Gallery and Cafe. What can I get you?” The guy smiled. Can I just say wow? All the people I’ve met today are just gorgeous. I mean, I’ve met loads of gorgeous people in showbiz but these people just set a higher scale of the term. I quickly scanned the menu in front and decided to order a drink without caffeine, so I wouldn’t have trouble sleeping when I get back. “Hi! Can I get a strawberry and Cream Frappuccino please”, I said, and gave a small smile. “Alright, would that be all?” he asked while tapping on the monitor. “Yes. Thank you” “Your order will be served in 5 minutes” he said in a low voice and gave a small smile. I nodded and headed back to my seat. Scrolling on my phone while walking, I failed to notice that I bumped into a wall, or more like someone.
