The Cub

Both of them were extremely strong I was nowhere near them. Looking at what happened made me realise that If I am not strong enough I would lose my family just like this little cub did.

I have finally found a family & a place I can call home I can't afford to lose it, not at all. I gotta get stronger, to not end up like this cub. 

"I can't leave you here, not after what I have seen" 

I dont know if there are any more monsters or beasts inside that dungeon but looking at how both of them were injured & how they were the only ones to come out of it I think it's fine now.

He looks just like his parent, his leg is injured but it doesn't seem to be something serious, I am sure he would be able to start walking soon. Even though he is a cub he is slightly bigger than me.

Seems Imma have to strengthen my body with mana to take it back home.

"Let's go little one, Imma take care of you from now on"

{ Same-day dinner time, at home }

"Mom Dad umm... I am home..."

"Woah !! What is that Leo !?" 

"Have you hunted some beast ? I thought you hated hunting" 

"Uhh no it's not dead & I haven't hunted it, it's actually a little cub."

"A little cub !? It's even bigger than you !! "

"Where did you find it Leo ?"

"Uhhh umm well I heard some sounds coming from the forest & I went to see where it was coming from & I saw a big monster & a big beast dead there & this little cub was there injured & unconscious" 

"Big monsters !? Where exactly did you see them Leo ? Tell me honestly !!"

"....near the dungeon."

"I had told you not to go near there didn't I !?"

"I am sorry Dad..., I won't go near there again..., Dad Mom one of the Big Beast looked exactly like this cub & it was making sad sounds near it's corpse, I could not watch it go through pain so I brought it here, it's leg seems injured & it's still unconscious... Can we please treat it ? I wanna keep it as a pet"

"As a Pet !? You think you can handle it ? It's even bigger than you" 

"Can I atleast try ? If I am unable to then I would leave it where I found it"

"Ok fine, bring it in for now, we gotta treat it's injury while it's unconscious"

"It's been treated now & it should be able to walk or run properly soon, but it needs to rest, go & keep it in the shed for now Leo"

"Ok" 

"And be careful, even if it's just a cub it can still be dangerous" 

"...Ok"

After putting the cub inside the shed I stayed with it for a while... & before I realised it I fell asleep with it.
