Imagine a ball of light, like how the sun looks emitting light around itself, release your mana outside, yes this much is enough, now... "Light Orb !!!" 

Ha...haha... seems I can't use any of the six types. Ughhh damn !!! I sooo wanna use elemental arts !!...but seems I can't.

I have not step a foot outside this island & I am happy that there is no one beside my family here, it's more safe but I wonder how long it will be like this.

I have finally found a family & a place I can call home, I can't afford to be weak I gotta be strong, strong enough to protect my family & home. 

I guess all I can do now, is enhance my physical prowess using my Mana & learn to fight & use weapons from my father.

I gotta keep strengthening my own Mana so I can enhance my physical prowess the most to fill in for my lack of elemental arts.

I guess it's time for lunch now, I should ask my father to train me after lunch.

"Thanks for the food" 

"Hey Dad, umm can I start training with you from tomorrow ?" 

"Huh ? You wanna start training with me ? Why ? You are still too little you know."

"Uhh well, I was reading this book the other day named 'Differences between Skills & Abilities' & I found that we can learn any skill we want & I wanna learn a lot of skills so I can help you & mom & also You look so cool while training, I wanna be cool like you too Dad" 

Indeed I had read that book 'Differences between Skills & Abilities', the most important difference between them was that Skills were something that a person could acquire by learning & practice, while abilities were something that were granted as a blessing & an individual could not gain them no matter how much he learned about them or practiced. 

My father had the ability Merge, through which he could merge non living objects like rocks & other metals together but he couldn't merge natural things together like fire or water or earth.

My mom had the ability called item box, where she could store anything that she wanted, in a limited item box with a capacity of 125 m³. 

My parents abilities were good, not so flashy or great but their skills were amazing, my mother's cooking, farming, sewing, and other daily use skills were very helpful & my father's weapon using skills & fighting skills were no less than an average knight's I think. 

"You cheeky brat, where did you learn to flatter your dad like that huh ? But well I can't turn down such an earnest request from my son, & it's not cause you are cute when u flatter you understand !?"

"Sir Yes Sir !" 

"Oh, don't call me Sir, just Dad is fine"
