Mock Fight (2)

We had already taken our wooden swords in our hands & we both dashed forward towards each other.

Since my dad was taller I swinged my sword above my head making contact with dad's sword, dad was applying more strength, I too did the same.

Right now my power was on par with my dad. He had said that children till the age of 8 are able to take in much more amount of Mana then after reaching 8 years.

The amount of Mana which a kid till the age of 8 takes in within 2 years requires older people 10 years to take in. 

Normally kids start at the age of 6 in this world but I due to my previous world memories was able to start at the age of 3 so thankfully I had much more amount of Mana, slightly more than my father I think. 

But as Dad said he wasn't bad at swordsman ship, after parrying my attack he deflected it & swinged his sword at my legs.

I jumped in time to avoid getting hit & aimed my sword at my dad's neck, but before I could hit it my dad swinged at my blind spot & I had no choice but to defend against it. 

We kept swinging our swords at each other aiming for each other's blind spots.

I took advantage of my short height & slipping between my dad's legs, quickly went behind my dad to hit his back.

But as if he was expecting it he blocked it holding his sword behind his back & turning even faster then before he deflected my sword & hit me on my left abdomen. 

I was protecting myself with mana so it didn't deal much damage, but it still hurt. Well it was my loss. 

"That's my win, so now you have two wins and one loss, let's settle it with the last one shall we ?" 

"I am still in the lead Dad"

"Don't worry Imma make sure to end it in a tie between us" 

Imbuing ourselves with mana to fight each other we dashed out again, I threw the first punch which he easily evaded as he directed his punch towards my gut.

Evading that punch I closed the distance between us to land a punch on his abdomen but the punch to my gut was a feint & my dad landed an elbow strike on my face.

I took a few steps back & dashed forward again, we kept attacking, evading & blocking each other's move for a while.

Once again closing in, I feinted a flip kick to my dad's face which he evaded & the moment I landed I dashed forward with more speed keeping my body low & landed a leg sweep on my dad which made him fall.

I took that chance to attack him but as I rushed in, my dad took a fast turn and landed a kick on my abdomen which made me fly towards the tree.

It was a hard kick & I wasn't able to stand up properly after that. It concluded my defeat. 

"Told you didn't I ? It's a tie between us"

"Hehehe even if it's a tie between us it's still my win, isn't Felis gonna think that his big brother is cooler since he is able to fight on par with his dad ?"

"Ok ok fine, but it's a tie considering your last defeat."

"Fine I will accept that" 

With that the mock fight between Dad & me concluded.
