I walked into the bar and looked around, but I couldn't find Mike. I belly up to the bar, ordered a beer, and started watching the game. There were a couple of people at the bar; some were familiar, but then I didn't have the energy to walk around the bar greeting everyone I knew. I was there for about 30 minutes when Mike texted to say he had an emergency and couldn't make it. I was a little bummed out, but I was already here, so I might as well enjoy my time.
