Unspoken Emotions – EPISODE THREE
For some few seconds, time paused for Gina. The pen in her hand slipped from her fingers and hit the floor with a soft rattle. The lovely office suddenly felt suffocating.
Jeffrey froze at the doorway briefly, then walked in, covering his shock with confidence.
The Managing Director, feeling something was off, smiled cheerfully.
“Gina, meet Mr. Jeffrey our horticultural expert. You two will be working closely together on this project.”
Gina forced a smile, though her lips trembled slightly and her eyes betrayed her.
Her heart raced, and her mind was unresponsive, but her body stayed rooted to the spot.
Jeffrey cleared his throat, trying to look composed.
“It’s… good to see you again, Gina ,” he said softly, his voice steady but his eyes giving him away.
Gina’s smile faded off as the late afternoon sun.
That sent thousands of words to Jeffrey. Indeed, she wanted to say a lot, but it's not necessarily, and even if it is, the timing is not good.

Jeffry sighed. “Gina,I know ok, I know I owe you an explanation ”
“Please you don't owe me anything, and please keep that apology for yourself.” She said coldly as she gathered her files.
She walked past Jeffrey, stopped, and turned around, Jeffrey stole a glance as he was curious why she had stopped.
Raising her hand a bit, she said..

Her words were firm, but Jeffrey understood. He had lost the right to speak to her as he once did.
As Gina walked out, Gina’s gaze followed her, the same woman he once promised forever is now a complete stranger.
But looking all pretty, confident, and well built, Jeffrey couldn't help but appreciate her effort to be up there.
Shaking his head, he smiled faintly, and as he put on his glasses.
Gina woke happy and went to sign the contract she had prayed for, only to come home angry and sad.
Gina has been single since Jeffrey "dumped" her. The only person she talks to is Ella but she wasn't ready for her drama.
She had no appetite for food, so Gina decided to take her shower and call Ella afterwards.
Her phone started chiming the moment she started bathing. She giraffed to check who was calling though she had guessed already, and yes, it was Ella. She called five times in that bathing period.
After bathing, just when Gina was leaving the bathroom, her phone rang again.
She picked the phone up without checking the caller ID
"What is it?!" She said with a serious voice.
"Oh Gina, is that how you respond to calls now?" The person
