The Butterfly Effect

The gods choose to hide the Orb of Mortals in the city of Rome behind the great wall which can only be seen by a way finder "Paul" Tyrese thought to himself, every of their encounter along the way to defeating Chaos seems to be embedded in some level of mysteries with no idea what they might find as their journey unfolds, he looked around as they find their way through passersby who were in a hurry to get to their destinations, no doubt Rome is beautiful, far more beautiful than what he's seen on papers, he turned to Daphne who is walking behind Paul

Tyrese "You know we might as well go on a date in this place, I mean don't you just love the serenity?" He teased her by touching her shoulder

Daphne "If you so much touch me again, I'll have your hand decapitated" she replied

Tyrese "Oops!" he leaned back

Paul "We are here" he stopped walking

Daphne "Where exactly are we?" she asked him

Tyrese "I know where we are, of cause in the middle of no where" he said and stepped forward in anger, looking around, in a flash of seconds the environment became deserted, Tyrese couldn't get himself together, he became so angry and irrational "I knew this is a dead end, I can't believe we teleported to Rome for nothing" with anger he threw a straight punch to the air and hit an invisible wall standing in the middle of nowhere, he paused for a while as he looked straight ahead of him in utter confusion "Are you seeing what I'm seeing" he looked back and asked Daphne and Paul

Paul "That is the great wall of Rome, invisible to mortals but visible to demigods" he said, Daphne moved closer and touched the wall, it only comes alive when it is touched

Daphne "So how do we get it opened?" She asked

Paul "That's why I'm here, we'll get teleported to the other side of the wall" he said

Tyrese "Okay time out, hold on a second" he tried to put himself together "You're not seriously going to teleport us to the other side of that wall, are you?" He asked

Paul "Of cause I will" he said

Tyrese "Don't you think that's a bad idea, we need to find another way?" He tried to talk him out of it as he moved closer to the wall trying to look for a way in"There might be a knob or a keypad somewhere around here" as he searched frantically Paul folded his arms together

Daphne "There's no other way Tyrese, if there is I'm sure Paul would have mentioned it" She said

Tyrese "Ain't you scared there might be battalions of supernatural beings waiting for us at the other side of that wall?, what if we plunge into an abyss of unending porthole?" he asked

Paul "Tyrese trust me there's nothing we can't handle, let's do this" he touched Tyrese and Daphne by the shoulders and teleported them to other side of the wall, as soon as they got to the other side, the Orb can be seen shinning from a distance in a place that seems like a dark room with nothing shinning but the Orb of Mortals

Tyrese "Quickly grab the Orb and let's go" he urged Paul

Paul "Wait here" he said

Tyrese "Trust me I'm going no where" he replied nervously as Daphne looked at him disdainfully

Tyrese "What?" he asked, Paul stepped forward and teleported to where the Orb is, made a move to pick it up from the hands holding it, unknowingly to him the Orb was guarded

Daphne "Look out" she shouted, six arrows were shot at him at the same time from some forces he can't see, he teleported away from the spot and reappeared again

Tyrese "Just pick the Orb and get out of there, you need to hurry" he said persuasively, as Paul reappeared and quickly snatched the Orb from the hands, only to discover the hands that seems to be hanging in the air, revealed its full body as a giant mortal.

Daphne "Get out of there" she shouted as she ran forward and slide on the floor to move past Paul who teleported away to where Tyrese is, Daphne slide past Paul and went under the giant, held it right leg with her left hand as she swung back to face it back, she jumped on it's calf, then to it waist, climbed to it's shoulder and held it head with her two hands, her eyes turned blue, immediately the giant mortal turned to stone, she elbowed it in the middle of its head, she summersaulted away to where Tyrese and Paul were as the rest of the giant mortal shattered away.

Tyrese looked stunned by her moves "Wow how did you do that?" he asked in a surprised tone

Daphne "Let's get out of here" she said

Paul "See, I told you there's nothing we can't handle" he said and chuckled, he held them both on the shoulder and they teleported outside the great wall, they immediately came face to face with a large number of Chaos army waiting for them.

Tyrese "You were saying?" he asked sarcastically

Paul "Okay I wasn't expecting this" as they all moved back

Daphne "I guess we have to fight our way through"

Tyrese "What do you think they want?" He asked naively

Paul "They want the Orb I presume" he replied

Daphne "Not gonna happen" she positioned herself to fight.

The fight for the alternate earth continues as Bruce flew up into the sky and conjured a long two golden bladed sword by raising his right hand to the sky, the appearance of the sword gave him a new golden armour with his wings flapping behind him, he came down with full power holding the two bladed sword in the middle, he dived into the armies of Chaos who are numerous like swarming bees, the blade cut them down as he flew through their midst, the force of his flight generated a thick shield around him knocking down every thing Infront of him and almost everything on both sides, those who are left unscarred on both sides ran after Daisy and Paul.

Daisy spinned around in 360 degrees as her golden armour was revealed, she stretched out her hands and sped into the Chaos armies to her right, knocking them down one after the other with great force and the speed of light as she spinned through them, Paul watched the armies on the left dashing towards him as Bruce took off to the sky after knocking down some armies, he teleported beside Bruce in mid air and touched his hand, immediately he got the power of Bruce, the effect made him had wings and he shape shifted into Bruce with two bladed sword in his hand, Bruce looked at him "Cool" he said, Paul dived into the armies of Chaos from the back and knocked them out the way Bruce did, he flew back to the sky beside Bruce, Daisy knocked down the last part of the armies and became a little bit woozy as she tried to shake the feelings off, she gazed into the sky and became confused looking at two Bruce in the sky, she thought she was still feeling the effect of spinning hard and faster, she shook her head in order to see well.

Daisy "Am I seeing double?" she asked in utter confusion, they both answered him "No" after she was sure she's seeing two Bruce in the sky she stood akimbo and asked

Daisy "Which of you is Bruce" she asked, they both answered "Me" and chuckled

Daisy "You know what, forget it" She gazed straight at Chaos

Daisy "Can somebody tell me how to deal with that?" she asked pointing towards Chaos, Bruce and Paul turned towards Chaos direction, Chaos moved closer to them

Chaos "Miserable peasants, the gods has sent their minions to do their bidding" He said and laughed wickedly "Soon I will bring your reality to its knees and you all will be begging for mercy" Bruce interjected him

Bruce "You're the one who will be begging for mercy when we're done with you"

Daisy "We won't let you destroy our reality, this is how far you go" she said looking straight at her

Chaos "You don't get it child, your reality is on the verge of destruction already, a misdemeanor you all brought upon yourselves by your recklessness, I'm just doing you a favour by ending your miserable puny life, for millions of years I've watched mortals gradually dwindling by bring destruction upon themselves" they all watched her as she spoke and continued "And what did the gods do, they come down and protected the mortals all for what? To repeat the same process over and over again, mortals! hmm!" she shrugged as if the understanding of who mortals are disgust her as she continued, "miserable, egoistic, heinous, vicious miserable little destructive psychopath, be happy that your little worthless life will soon come to an end"

Paul "I can't stand here listening to this freak of nature" he spinned around and threw his two bladed sword at her, Chaos flinched it away with just swinging his right hand, Bruce flew closer and tried attacking her with his sword, with no avail as Chaos was blocking every of his moves with a sword he generated from her Chaotic form, at the slightest opening Bruce got, he tried wrapping his wings around Chaos in order to crush her but got smacked away like a piece of unwanted paper, Bruce soon realized they can't fight him by themselves, they need to work together as a team

Daisy "He's too powerful" she said aloud

Chaos "You all don't get do you? You can't defeat me not in this realm or your reality" he laughed and disappeared.

The reality earth became so tensed up as the armies of Chaos attacked Tyrese, Daphne and Paul whose power doesn't allow him to be active when he split himself into two dimensions, when the battle became so fierce Paul teleported away for a while and couldn't be seen by Daphne and Tyrese who were Seriously engaged in arm to arm combat with the armies of Chaos, Daphne fought them off with every tactics, from using her legs and two edge sword that only reveals themselves when she brought them out of their sheath which was behind her, the wave of her blade when she swung them devastate her foes before even touching them, she stood back to back with Tyrese as they were surrounded.

Tyrese "Paul if you can here me, it's about time, we need to get out here"

Daphne "They are too many, we can't fight them all"

Tyrese "Oh yes we can but I don't think we have to, we have what we came for" Paul appeared and held on to their shoulders and teleported them out their midst, they appeared in the courtyard close to the temple of Zeus where Bruce and Daisy were waiting for them, the other part of Paul dissipated, Tyrese quickly held Paul back

Tyrese "Why did you abandoned us in the heat of a fight" he asked, Daphne focused on him sternly waiting for his cogent reason

Paul "When I appear in two realms at the same time, I can only be active in one"

Tyrese "How do you mean active in one?"

Daphne "That means in the realm where he's not active or fighting he can die that's why he teleported away in the middle of the fight"

Tyrese "Oh now I got it" while they were discussing Bruce and Daisy ran towards them

Bruce "Did you get the Orb of Mortal?" He asked him with great expectations, but what seems to be a partial victory they've had having lost the alternate earth to Chaos vanished into the thin air when Paul couldn't find the bag pack where he kept the Orb.

Daphne "Please don't tell me you've lost the Orb?" She asked in a most shocking way

Paul "I can't find it" he had a quick flash back to where he reappeared to teleport Daphne and Tyrese while they were been circled, he remembered Chronos launched at him and held on to the bag pack before finally exiting the scene.

Bruce "How could you lose the Orb?" He asked as he walked away from them, it was obvious that he was very angry and confused

Daisy "How could you guys lose the Orb?, you had just one job get the Orb and rendezvous back here and you blew it" she challenged them

Tyrese "You've got to calm down Daisy, it's not as if we lost the Orb on Purpose"

Daisy "Calm down? That's the one thing that can defeat Chaos, I don't think anyone should be calm at this point" She became so angry as the arguement heated up between them "So what are you going to do now?" she moved closer to Paul and tapped him on the shoulder, Daphne quickly intercepted her

Daphne "Back off, if you want to pick a fight with anyone, let it be me" She pushed her away and removed her two edged sword and faced Daisy, Daisy didn't hold back she charged at her with super lighting speed, Daphne hit her on the head with the back of her sword she fell to the ground and tried to clear Daphne off the ground she jumped up, Daisy kicked her in the air, she fell some distance away and quickly ran towards Daisy who was back on her feet, Bruce quickly intervened and stopped the two of them from fighting

Bruce "Wow! Wow! Wow! guys stop, this is not the way out" he held them back from fighting eachother with both hands

The thought of losing the one thing that can defeat Chaos weakened everyone of them, no one could say a word for some seconds

Tyrese "There's got to be another way" he asked as if he was expecting a positive answer from anyone

Bruce "There's only one way to find out"

Paul "How"

Bruce "We ask Zeus"
