Ghost Mode

In the heart of Mexico, there's legend of a mysterious lady, considered as the most beautiful lady of all time, every man that has ever seen her never remains the same, they are plagued with constant desire to have her and wishes to kill themselves over her, what seems like a thing of pride for her quickly turned from being a blessing to becoming a curse in disguise, she decided to go into ghost mode by becoming a vigilante and as a martial artist, a black belter she started fighting for those who are helpless especially ladies,"Daphne" dressed up in blue pants, blue hoodie top, a black nose mask which covers half of her face and two double ended fighting sticks hooked behind her, with blue sneakers to blend in with her camouflage, this was something she does secretly at night, never filmed and never caught on camera, she's swift and skillful at what she does but this faithful day she never knew she's been targeted and the days of her secret escapades will soon be over, like every normal day she stepped out so late, hanging on the roof top with her eyes piercing through the dark, she squatted as she looked through her enhanced camouflage glasses that gave her the ability to zoom into object from afar coupled with night vision and calculating the speed of moving object per seconds which added to her quick reflex when in combat. Her aim is to disarm her opponent when in combat, catch them off guard and doing less damage, her double ended fighting stick gives her the leverage she needs to do a minor injury to those she encounters.

The deepness of the darkness this faithful day speaks much volume of what is expected, but unknown to the huntress she never knew that darkness has a surprise of it own, she pressed the power button by the side of her glasses, it came on, tapped the button one more time and it switch to attack mode, at the same time it activated night mode, in her ears she could hear the voice over saying auto mode activated, the movement on the lens seem rapid as her lens calculate the speed and movement of moving vehicle and passersby, through her lens she can tell when some is in danger. She can read the emotional pattern and can quickly sense the feeling of fear in passers by or sense eminent danger, this is how she picks her victims, from the rooftop where she hides, she spotted a lady with rapid movement and fear written all over her, she waited to be sure she was being hunted, as soon as she confirms her instinct was right and watched three guys walking unsuspiciously but in a rather quick movement in other to catch up with their prey she leaped forward, she leaped by making a single front flip landed on one of her legs and accelerated with the other, she looked closely into the rooftop topography and noticed they are in descending order with a few meters between them as her lenses automatically zoomed in, piece of cake she thought in her mind, when she got to the edge she made a double front flip landed on her legs then continued running, "two more to go she thought to herself" by this time the hunters were gaining in on their prey who was almost getting closer to the edge of a dark alley by the corner, she ran like she was trying to catch a moving train, another instinct kicked in as she said to herself "Go Blue" she leaped before getting to the edge this time she jumped triple flip forward like she was being catapulted, landed on her feet and did a single front roll, picked up the pace jumped on the street light Infront of her and spinned down in a spiral mode three times in quick succession to kick the first guy chasing after the innocent lady, he staggered backward, bumped into the other two guys coming behind him, they all fell like a pack of duck pin hit by a bowling ball, while she stood and looked back at the lady who waited to see the fiasco "Go" she said in deep voice. she ran away after she said "thank you".

"Big mistake dude" says the tallest and most hefty guy among them as they all stood on their feet

"Yeah big mistake" the second guy echoed

"What are you?, some vigilante?"

Daphne " Are we going to dance or you boys just wanna chat?"

"Get him boys" said the hefty one.

The other two guys rushed at her with a baseball bat one after the other, she moved backward into the dark as they try to catch up with her with a little light above them she stopped.

"Yeah, run b***h" one of the guys said

Daphne "Who said anything about running"

one of the guys moved in on her and swung his baseball bat aiming for her head she dodged it by moving sideways, gave him a hard punch on the jaw with her right hand, his head swung to the right in a very funny manner, he fell like a log of wood and never stood up, kicked the other guy coming behind her in the tummy and use her shoe to slap him hard on the face he fell down and passed out immediately, she turned around.

The hefty guy standing some few inches from her was impressed by how she managed to put his men down with little or no stress.

"Oh dude that's impressive" as he clapped, looking at the hefty guy who is quite taller than her, she knew she'd have to outwit him in every way possible, he moved forward, she charged at him gave him four quick hard punches on the stomach and the last one on his jaw, surprisingly he didn't flinch, he grabbed her by the neck and flung her on the wall like a piece of paper, she struggled to get back on her feet, he dashed at her in order to grab her one more time, she rolled away and escaped underneath his arm, she stood on her feet, her lenses scanned around for his weakness, it came to a halt at somewhere between his legs "BALLS,..... Delicate part, fleshy and jelly" it added, he threw a punch at her, left jab and right jab in four quick combinations she parried them all, the guy threw another straight punch at her, she dodged it by swinging around him in 360 degree stylishly to her left and ended up behind him, she kicked his balls from the back, he squealed "Ouuuuuuccccch" in a very tiny voice and went down on his knees, holding his balls with his two hands, she moved closer to him and whispered to his ears

Daphne " I'm no dude stupid" she said in a girly voice, she kicked him on the back, he fell over his face and groan in excruciating pain, she walked away with her hoodie on.

As she negotiated into the next street she saw fire consuming a whole building, her lenses tried to calculate if there is anyone in the fire by looking out for heat signature, but the intensity of the fire gave it no clear result, she ran towards the scene and heard a woman crying, my daughter is in there, Daphne without asking two much questions dashed into the fire forgetting her outfit is incombustible, she never thought about how much of danger she could have put herself, even with her in combustible outfit she could still feel the intensity of the fire around her, her lenses was able to pick up the structure of what seem like a human being underneath a table with debris falling here and there and everyone waiting outside thought she probably won't make it, she calculated the window between the last debris falling from the roof and she jumped forward stretching her hands towards the little girl underneath the table,

Daphne "Cmon dear" as she asked nicely but she refused "I'm Daphne what's your name?" the terrified little girl answered "Princess"

"Cmon Princess we need to hurry mummy is waiting outside" she crawled towards her and she carried her, her conscience began to condemn her, she knew the mistake she made was jumping into fire without properly planning a way of escape, while looking around in the fire curiously and with so much disappointment written all over her face, her mind kept spinning forth and back, her automatic lenses was able to see a passage which leads upstair she had no choice than to take it, fear begin to consume her as she climbed up the smokey stairs, she was as much afraid as the little girl she's carrying, she opened one of the doors fire gulped out, she moved backward and went towards the next

Princess " Are we gonna die" she asked sadly and started coughing from.the smoke of the fire which has started clogging her lungs

Daphne "No one is dying today Princess, I'm taking you to mummy" she said to encourage her.

She opened the next door fire gulped out the second time, at this point she was about losing hope of the two of them getting out of the fire alive, she reluctantly tried the next door and no fire, but the smoke in the room was choking with little fire brooding at the edges of the wall and some where closer to the bed, she was filled with little hope, she put Princess on the floor, "wait here" she searched around the room for something to leverage "Princess" down the window, she picked up a chair and threw it out of the window which automatically shattered the glass, she picked up Princess and jumped off the window landed on her feet.

Daphne "Run to mummy"

Princess "Thank you Daphne" she patted her on the head as she ran along.

Her act of heroism surprised those who saw her jumped out of the window as she walked away majestically, after some distance away from the scene of fire, a shadow brushes past her quickly left and right, she never seen such speed before on any human, she removed her doubled edged sticks.

"Show yourself' she spoke aloud with some level of boldness, she looked around to see what it was, eventually she saw it behind her, holding the stick in combat mode, her lenses scanned through the human like shadow object and displayed " Origin Unknown " on her screen, she paced backward slowly, she was aware of the darkness that follows the shadow anywhere it went as it killed the street lights one after the other, she immediately understood she is only safe in the light, the lens displayed "RUN!" She took off and ran into the street where there's better illumination, her feet were so quick like she's on some sort of steroid, it's obvious her life is in danger, while running she noticed a very bright milky substance Infront of her, her lenses in quick breakdown gave her analysis of the object, "milky way, gate way, a passage to unknown"

Daphne "Oh really?, great that's vey great as she ran into the object she finds herself falling to her death.
