I sighed as I turned off my phone screen and looked out the window. The storms had yet to wane, and my wolf had been prowling in my mind while I was consumed with worry about my mate. I didn't know Ezia was planning on going back to the ruins today. It slightly reassured me that Deck was with her, but her pregnancy and the danger at hand still made me restless. Turning around, I was supposed to grab my cup of coffee, but my vision blurred and my hand slipped. I accidentally pushed the ceramic over the table's edge instead, and the liquid spilled all over the floor as the fragile mug broke into pieces. My breath left me as I stared at the mess. There was still a haze around my vision, and it was like my mind was running through a sludge of mud. I gazed around the room, and I had no choice
