Chapter 31: The White Coveted Wolf
MAYA'S POV
The punch felt deafening, making my skull feel like it crushed and reformed back to shape. The last thing I saw before I blacked out in severe pain, was the man snapping his fists and muttering “It's time we knock her out,”.
They made good on their word because I knew nothing that happened next but I was sure I was flinching in pain during my unconscious state.
I woke up minutes later, my face burning up like I had hot coals in it. The place I was boxed in was dark and I knew my visions were still spinning. With each breath I took, I jerked in pain from the impact of where I was hit.
