He snapped out of his hallucinations when he noticed I was one step away from him. He jerked in surprise and continued talking
“I don't know who but someone is after her for being your mate,” he spat out, stuttering uncontrollably.
What did you plan to do with her?”I asked with a deep frown.
He blinked and stared at Rex unable to speak anymore like his lips were sealed shut or he was to scared to do it. Rex growled angrily and raised his hands, preparing to land a smack on his face.
