Kylian’s POV
I had thought her Maya's kidnapping would be traumatic despite my promise to her but she recovered quickly. If it didn't mark her Wolf's awakening, I was pretty sure she would be blank for seconds before she recalled the event.
What took over her brain was her survival and the assurance that she was nothing short of her sister. Madeline had a blessed wolf while she also had a blessed which was considered a rare gem.
The survivor which I showed mercy laid mercy was unconscious for days. I wanted to extract more information from him. A rival pack threatened to cross mine boundary and possibly cause mischief between my packs. I was back and needed to tackle it before it escalated.
