MAYA'S POV
My disdain for the statements he threw my way was overwhelming. I wonder how he could expect me to act calm after finding out about his attempts to read my mind. Not ever. I crossed my arms and frowned deeply.
I knew I wasn’t in the right place or power to talk back to him when he followed me to my room. Dare I say his room, because I was just a guest with a year long contract.
