I kept good at my promise to Maya. I wanted her to feel safe in my home, make it hers, and also live comfortably with her. I started by getting rid of all the rebel pack members in my territory. No one was going to attack Maya and feel safe.
Time unfolded as days and one day, when I was out on a hunt, a messenger ran towards me, all the way from my palace. He had a message for me and it seemed urgent.
