“WHAT!” I thundered, standing up in anger. My jaws clenched as I heard the report and my fingers snapped. “What the hell do you mean?”
“She got lost in a crowd and I can't find…” his voice dissapeared
“What were you doing with her in a crowd,” I hollered “I told you not to go alone with her but with a lot of… have you tried calling her phone,”
I shot a disheartened gaze and clamped my fist. This wasn't the news I was prepared to hear. In a flash, my calm mood turned into worry, making me tap my right foot on the ground repeatedly.
“I called her phone but she didn't pick up…” Rex took a deep breath and I was sure he ruffled his hair frustratedly “Um, an hour later, I called again and it was switched off,”
