Chapter 5 The Policewoman Squadron Leader

The three members of the Fang family were also confused. Who had called the police?

The shop owners on Laosan Street were** accustomed to seeing groups of gangsters roaming around. They knew that calling the police was useless. But there must have been a customer with a strong sense of justice who had made the call.

Under normal circumstances, when the Laosan Street Police Station received a report about gangsters causing trouble, they would turn a blind eye. They would wait until the gangsters had almost finished what they were doing before sending out a patrol car as a token gesture.

The policewoman squadron leader frowned: "How is that possible? These so-called 'victims' don't look like good people at all. They got beaten up this badly by one person— are you sure they're not faking it?"

Who in their right mind would lie on the street pretending to be beaten up for no reason? Officer Sun wiped the sweat from his forehead: "They really are the victims, Leader. What do we do now?"

The policewoman waved her hand: "Take all of them back to the station. We'll find out what happened there."

Officer Sun secretly gave Chen Hu a reassuring gesture— meaning that as long as they got to the station, that kid would definitely be in trouble. He would be charged with intentional assault, and he would receive the "highest level of special treatment".
