Chapter 3: The Engagement Party

Alexei and Anastasia were both 29 years old by now, they've been with each other since they were kids. From childhood besties to getting married, Now they're having their engagement party at their apartment. Of course their family and friends were all there.

Alexei was telling the story of the bite again, of how Anastasia bit his flesh. When they were kids, Alexei thought she had problems with her behavior but for Alexei it was a romantic gesture. She wanted him and only him since they were 8 years old.

"Anastasia bit 9 other kids that year, the same year she bit me!" Alexei said, "You're the only one that meant anything to me tho." Anastasia said. They looked at each other, in a serious way, then they we're both laughing. He then said "You know, I still had to go to the hospital! five stitches for a bite." Anastasia mumbled "six, six stitches!" Everyone was laughing at the both of them. "I almost got kicked out of school!" Anastasia said, "You should've been kicked out of school! you were so wild back then." Alexei said sarcastically.

Just then, Harry, Alexei's best friend tapped his glass and said "May I please have everyone's attention now, I'd like to make a toast! Anastasia, an amazing woman like you with this really clueless white boy, I mean I literally disapproved of how disgustingly happy you guys are and how perfect you two are for each other. But I'm happy you guys met, I'm happy you proposed to this guy! Happy engagement you two!!" Alexei and Anastasia nodded at Harry and mouthed the words "thank you". Everyone clinked their glasses, greeting them.

Yes, Anastasia proposed to Alexei with a rubber band as their ring, Although he had already bought her a ring, he was just looking for the perfect moment but she really did beat him to it.

"There might be a little angel down there to make it more official!" Anastasia said, Everyone was surprised. Her Mother, Annika said "about time to have a grand child to spoil!". Everyone in that apartment congratulated the both of them.

When everyone had already left, they cleaned up and took a shower. They were both really exhausted, so they laid in bed. They were staring at each other "What if it hadn't worked out between us?" Anastasia worriedly asked, "You know that's impossible! We love each other!" She kissed him passionately. One thing led to another and after that they fell right to sleep.
