Cora’s POV
Ezra destroyed his whole office as soon as we returned from Nightstar pack. He was unsettled, never has his plans ended in defeat.
“DID YOU KNOW?” Ezra screamed at me again as he back handed me. In all honesty I’m glad I didn’t specify what I knew as it saved my life right now.
“No!” I cried again. These tears were fake, something I learned to do to subside his anger.
“Then only that woman knows the truth now. That stupid cunt, trying to get me in the end!” His fist slammed down on his oak desk, breaking it in half. “NILES!” Ezra yelled for his Beta. The poor man quickly came in, fear towards Ezra evident. “Put her in the cells for a week, no food on top of that.”
