Jet's POV I laid there, eyes heavy, but sleep would not come. I have been arguing with myself for an hour now. My chest tightened in pain, a pain that did not belong to me, but to Amethyst. It has been less than twenty-four hours, but already I was beginning to feel our connection to each other solidify. I knew that she held a bunch of hate and sadness, but I never knew to this extent.
