POV: Burn The quiet after the bloodshed didn’t settle right. I stood over the bodies of the last few Crows, my hands still smeared with their blood, but something about this fight felt off. It was too easy—like they didn’t even care they were going down. Razor leaned against his bike, eyes narrowed as he looked around the lot. “That was sloppy,” he muttered. “It’s like they didn’t give a shit.” I wiped the sweat from my brow, scanning the area, but there were no answers here. “They didn’t,” I said quietly. “They were just buying time.” Razor’s eyes flicked to mine, his jaw tightening. “Time for what?” That was the question eating at me.
