There was a whisper and mayhap even a push but she was so distracted with her haunting thoughts that she was unable to understand what truly happened from that fall. She wouldn't deny that there is something wrong with it. There is something amiss from how her thoughts haunted her and the effects it has caused. However, she could not investigate it further when she is completely immobile all over again, being tended by someone since she is incapable of taking care of herself. The only comforting thing about it is that Kierran had been tolerable with her. He has been tending to her since last night and when she woke up from her sleep, he remained beside her, watching her intently as if checking if she was still breathing.
“I’m fine,” she said, speaking for the first time that day.
