Chapter 16Nat all but drags him out of the bar by the hand, dropping it once they’re outside. “What do you do?” Danny asks on the walk to his lodgings. “I’m Chief Financial Officer of a small company,” Nat says. “We make apps.” “Impressive.” Danny gives him a glowing glance and he winks. There isn’t much time for conversation, though, because Nat’s apartment really is only a block away from the club. Danny relinks their hands in the elevator, for the hell of it; Nat squeezes his fingers and smiles.
