Dakota, along with Rick’s tribe, traveled through the Arena from one safe place to the next, away from the other men, and with every day that went past the hot spots on the hologram bracelet grew smaller and smaller.
“I think it is safe to make our way towards the gates,” Rick said after two days of noticing that the hot spots on the hologram watch stayed stationed.
“I wonder why they are not moving?” Dakota asked.
“Probably too starved to carry on,” Rick said and started to walk in the direction of the gates.
“But then why don’t they give up? I see the hot spots at the gate every morning, but then they move away again,” Dakota shared her observation.
