Chapter 49: The Talk

4855 Words

Thalia Donovan It’s two in the morning and I can’t sleep. As hard as I try to close my eyes, I just end up rolling in bed and then opening my eyes again after realizing it’s not possible. So now I have officially given up trying. I sighed as I sat up on my bed. The only light that I see is from outside as a part of my curtain is pushed to the side and moonlight comes in ever so slightly. Other than that, it’s total darkness. Cristiano wasn’t here. Maybe that’s the reason why I can’t sleep at all even if I tried counting sheeps. I’ve been so used to him sleeping with me these past few days, him cuddling me, being that big spoon, and feeling his chest against my back going up and down, that when it all disappeared, it’s like I lost the ability to sleep on my own. It sucks. Big time.
