So when either of us gets in shape. The dining table belongs to all of us and we don't need to explain why "Mia?" Finally, he shared this list of 'theme ideas,'" he recalls. But I can't remember. Luke must have seen it because he smiled and opened the link. Take a piece of paper and slide it onto the table. "I thought about the question 'Columbus' Hero or villain?” Since it's my first time, I'm sure I'll read the newspaper. "Oh yes. Good. Yes. That sounds promising. Columbus'” luna pulled out her pocket mirror and she saw her new teeth for the first time. A million times he ran his tongue over its smooth surface. "Why do they all have teeth like that?" she asked absentmindedly. But before that, each of us will be answered: a bunch of nonsense Shoot across our table. Luna shook her hair and yelled, "Oh my God!" Small yellow balls fall to the ground one after another. i follow the trail Ammunition follows this table full of each pathetic sophomore JV's jacket fell over and the chair looked at luna and laughed hysterically Her long hair was frantically combed with her fingers. it's like hearing his voice. But then he just looks down like he's so focused I can't think of anything else. "Fire to the hole!" I hear someone yelling. My head snaps up just in time to see one of them - the one with the i***t a grin and an embarrassed face — aim at him, a cheap, malleable metal spoon ready to shoot a spoonful of pale green peas right at me. His index finger withdraw the tip of the spoon slightly. And a kind of hot white light flashes before my eyes, applying itself into my heart, making it beat uncontrollably. I get up from my chair in front of me to even understand how my body moved so fast without a brain. Aiden locks eyes with me and his smile widens as his tablemates cheer him on. His finger releases like a trigger. A spoonful of peas hit me on chest and then fall to the floor with those little dull flat thuds, I swear hears all the other noise. Suddenly the planet stops spinning, stops, and stands still for a while the moment I stand there, the eyes of the whole world are on me I had slimy peas under my shirt. Then time flies again, The moment is over. And in the cafeteria, a cacophony resounds. the nation continues to function rotation around the sun. The whole cafe goes "Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" Screams and laughter fill your body. My brain is overheating. And I run, I just do it Luna watching me run out of the cafe with her palms folded I stand in front of the stark neon lights and kiss the crowd. You know luke goes back and forth between me and luna. A bologna sandwich with his mouth open. But I can't stop. cannot be undone around it. can't go back there. Once upon a time, without a gym pass or permission, If I don't have a coherent thought in my head, I'm going to hell, I'm going to hell out. I hurriedly enter the venue. I can't breathe, something is suffocating from within. On autopilot, my legs scurry down hallways and up stairs in search of a place to stay. pushed open the double doors. It looks like it just came out of the library. I feel a little lighter here and everything is happening at a normal pace, so my heart slows down while I'm standing in the hall with them. There are only a few children scattered around the library. nobody sees me. The door behind the circulation desk opens and Miss Solace walks in with a pile of books under her arm. He smiles at me so warmly. "oi. What can I do for you? ' she asked, putting down the book. I want to hide and tell her Just hide me from the world and never let me out this door. But I am not. I say nothing "Come in," she urges. "Here's the registration form," she said, placing her clipboard in front of me. I pick up a pencil attached to a string on the cutting board. It feels like chopsticks are sandwiched between your fingers, and your hand trembles when you press the pen against the paper. You must enter the date, name, time and place of birth. We have to do this every time we come and go anywhere. Miss Solace stares at what should be my name. "So what is your name again?" she asks quietly. "Mia." I replied in a flat voice. "Okay. Where are you from?" I left this field blank. Nothing comes out when you open your mouth. she looks at me and give me another smile. "South. I'm not allowed to be here,' I admitted, feeling kind of like a refugee. Seeing her across the table brings tears to her eyes. "It's okay, Mia," she says quietly. She hit her eye with her sleeve. "You know, I think I have that point." she nodded at the green stain on the front of my shirt. "Would you like to come to my office?" She pushed the door halfway to the counter and took me inside. "Sit down," she said, closing the door behind us. she searches her desk drawer and takes out a few pens. Her office is bright and warm. In the corner the whole table is filled with various plants. she has posters of books and librarians all on her walls, one of which has a large READ poster of the President smiling and holding a book. One of them says: A room without books is like a corpse without a place - Cicero. "Ahaha. That's it!" she handed me a Braille pen. "I carry this with me all the time. I'm pretty moody, so I always spill something on my body." she smiled as she watched me push the eraser. she dripped onto the stain on her shirt. "Don't put me back there," I begged, but I was too desperate and exhausted to even try to appear hopeless and not exhausted. “Can I volunteer for lunch now?” and? Or about? " "I wish I could say yes, Mia," she paused and frowned. "But unfortunately, we already have the largest amount of Number of volunteers for this period. But I think you are a good fit here. Is it... Have you ever been interested in that research?” "Are you sure you can't go to lunch anymore, so you don't have any more space? May I ask why?" "that is…… “ But the truth is, it's humbling. It's too humiliating to hide and keep eating lunch and throwing away food. Anyway, you can't do anything about it and your friends are too scared to stand up for you or for themselves. Especially when they are being attacked in the house, on the bed, and can't even defend themselves where they should be safe. For all these reasons it is personal. And questions like "why" can't really be answered, it's not like this woman is looking at me with her affection and waiting for an answer. Leave her anything she can do. But nothing, so I clear my throat and repeat. "only personal." "Okay." She looks at her nails and smiles sadly. I wonder if she really understands it or if she's just saying it. Something changed in her face as I got up and walked away. she looks at me like she's thinking of making me do this anyway and like she feels sorry for me. "Yes," she begins. "I remember who I played with. Anything that might interest you?" I jumped closer and literally hugged the edge of my seat. "I'm thinking of starting a book club, a group of students who meet over lunch. Anyone with even the slightest interest in reading outside of school can join. It'll be something like...More or less informal chat. Does that sound like what you want to do? "Yes! Exactly, yes, yes. I love books!" Then, more calmly, I must add, "I mean, I love reading, so book clubs are great." "Okay, that's great. Now, by school rules, each club needs at least six members for it to be an official member. So first of all, do you know anyone who might be interested?” "Yes, I think so. Probably two, but one anyway." "It's a start, a good start. If you really want to do it, you have to do your homework, right? Basically, my only role is to act as faculty advisor and mentor. The group itself is basically run by students. Organized by students - this is your group, not mine. Does this make sense?” "Yeah yeah. What do I have to do to make this happen?" "They can start making flyers and distribute them all over the school. First see if you can get enough people excited." "I can handle it. Now I can do it!" she laughed a little. "You don't have to do it right now, but I appreciate your enthusiasm. Actually, you don't have to do that at all. You can take it. Give it some thought if you can.” "I'm sure. I really want it." "OK. understood. I'm going to do paperwork this afternoon, what do you think?” "Famous!" I yelled in a trembling high voice, fighting the urge to jump over the table and wrap my arms around his neck. "It's really great!" I'm about to make flyers, and the walls will be plastered at the end of the day.
