Chapter 6

Ace’s POV

It has been a week at school. I have only so far got one teacher fired and everyone is avoiding me except for the people who are buying from me. I have only had people give me scared looks and honestly that is a good thing it means that they won’t come near me. Today I have to present this project on a drink and give the history on it. I chose tequila, I mean it is a drink and they didn’t say that I couldn’t so… I woke up this morning and sharpen my knives as I feel like things won’t go well today. I got dressed into my usual only today I am wearing my black ripped jeans and a v neck shirt. As I walk out the door I pull on my jacket and walk down stairs. I didn’t say goodbye to Danzel because he had already left early this morning. Turns out he is 15. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I checked I had my hair looking nice from my phone camera and I walked across the road. Today I had to get my photo done for my school ID. As I walked through the front doors of the school I saw cops talking to the principal. “Is this her?” they asked looking at me. What? “Yes, Ace darling can you come here” I walked over to them “It has come to my attention that you look identical to a previous student who is currently missing and I need you to take a swab to make sure you are who you say you are” I nodded and took the stick that they handed me and put it in my mouth. I was fine with it as my D.N.A is now in the system as Ace and my parents D.N.A was altered to not be similar to mine. I handed them the swab and continued on to class. When I got there people looked at me as usual and I sat down. “Ms. Petrovia you have a detention today at lunch for being late everyday this and last week” what the f**k “You can’t mark me late as this whole class is dedicated to the role and I didn’t miss it and the ladies at student services only mark you late if you come later than 9:00” I said looking back to my phone “Well, You have detention anyway” Why? “If you have no reason you can’t give me a detention. So I would like a valid explanation as to why I have a detention right now or I won’t go.” He thought for a moment “Because you do drugs” I laughed “Me drugs. Sir are you making a false accusation based on no proof whatsoever.” I didn’t have any drugs on me at the moment so I was fine “I have proof. Yesterday I saw you take a pill and then for the rest of the day you were acting like you were high” I had backup’s for this “I take medication to keep me awake and were your stalking me sir?” his face went pale “Judging by your face right now you were meaning you can get fired would you like that?” Then the bell went finally “bye” I said walking to my first class. English. We were reading this book on a drink maker. I submitted the presentation and waited for my name to be called. When it was called I stood up and walked to the front as the teacher brought up my presentation. “What is you drink” he asked and I smirked “Tequila” he glared at me “It better be good” I nodded. After I had finished he looked shocked. I did really well. After the bell rang I walked to my maths class and sat down “Isabella? My god it is you” I turned to see my teacher smiling weirdly. “No. My name is Ace” his smile dropped looks like he knows who I am. “W-well um go inside now” He said quietly. I smirked, I find it funny how people older than me are scared of me. When recess started I found a seat in the canteen and ate the lunch I had just bought. “Move! That’s my seat!” Cat said. “Your seat? I don’t see your name anywhere” she glared at me “Right there where it says ‘Top s**t’ ” I looked where she was pointing and in black marker it said top s**t “Oh it does, well it can’t mean you.” She was getting more annoyed by the second “Move b***h! I will bash you up!” she hissed, “I’d like to see you try” I said finishing my food and wiping my hands. I reached into my bag and grabbed a black sharp “You know what I think this is your seat” I said crossing out top and writing dumb. She sat down looking happy than looked at what I did “You think this is funny aye?” she yelled after me as I made my way out of the canteen. I heard her walking up to me and so I walked faster into a part of school where no one goes she grabbed my wrist and I turned around and twisted her while pushing it against her back. She yelped in pain but no-one could hear her. “b***h, You are dead!” she gritted her teeth “I didn’t know you talked to yourself too” She stood up as I let her go “Wanna go let’s go” she said putting her bag on the side I did the same “Alright” I could her mates behind her “If I win you kiss my shoes and do as I say” she said smirking “Fine by me, and if I win you do as I say” She nodded taking off her jacket and pulled out a knife “The only rule is there are no rules only us fighting. K?” I knew I would win “Sure” she ran at me but I dodged and she skidded she ran at me again with the knife I put out my foot and she tripped. “b***h!” she shrieked. She came at me again and this time I grabbed her arms and twisted them both behind her back. She yelped again. I let her get up and this time I grabbed out one of my knives she looked shocked as I threw it on the ground by my bag and I slowly grabbed every single weapon out of my jacket leaving my gun. She ran at me again and I grabbed the hand with the knife and squeezed it so she dropped it. I then slammed her head into the wall until she yelled “You win” I dropped her and went to pick up my knives I heard her run at me and that is when I pulled the gun out “You still think you can win?” I said “Y-you have a gun?” haha “Yeah, and I beat you without using it or any other weapon so what does that say about you huh?” she looked scared to answer I put the gun back in my jacket and put away my knives. I walked away laughing to myself. “You don’t have to do as I say, if I really need it I will make you do it,” I yelled back. After school I walked to the car. When I saw danzel I gave him a huge hug “You missed me?” I nodded into his chest  “What happened today?” ummm “I was in a fight” He pushed me away inspecting me “Are you okay? Did they hurt you?” He looked genuinely worried I don’t know if I should be offended. “Nah. I beat her without using a weapon even though she had a knife.” He nodded smirking “We have a huge thing tonight and you will get an opportunity to sell your stuff” I nodded as I felt the car drive off. “How did your thing go?” I asked “Good, we made the deal” I nodded. When we finally got home I walked upstairs with him and walked into our flat. “What do I need to where?” I was unsure if it was fancy or not “Um something fancy” I nodded and walked to our wardrobe. I looked for something nice. I hated wearing dresses so I tried to find something else. I could so in the end I called out to Danzel who was in a tux and I asked him he pulled out a red dress. I put it on then walked out the dress hugged my body in all the right places. I found some heels and put them on and then put my jacket over the top. When we left the house we got into a limousine and drove off. We were headed to an underground poker place. I put my phone in the clutch I was given and put the brick in danzels briefcase. When we got there I walked up to one of the biggest bosses and asked if wanted it for a price. He tested a bit then agreed. I got quite a bit off of it. Then I went to play poker. When we left I saw Cat enter when she saw me she immediately averted her eyes. After we got in the car I pulled out my phone to read “How come the bosses girl didn’t want to look at you?” What? Bosses girl? “Um she was the one that wanted a fight and lost” his eyes widened. What have I done? “What! how did you beat her she is unstopable” Huh? “I did she was the one I told you about” He looked at me “Holy s**t! You must be good” Thanks “Okay?” should I tell him I pulled a gun on her? I don’t know. “Um at the end of the fight after I won she came running at me and I reached for my knives but they were on the ground so I may have um grabbed my um gun. It wasn’t loaded though and the safety was on” How will he react “I thought you might have” okay “I shouldn’t have though” he looked me “You did what you had to” cool “Also the police came by the school” He looked shocked and angry “Why?” um “They thought I was pretending to be Ace so they asked for D.N.A” he calmed down a bit “Okay, cool” the car finally stopped and we got out. I felt suddenly felt a pain in my stomach that was all too familiar. I pulled out my gun aimed and shot and I saw the figure fall dead. I could feel the blood seeping through my clothes. “ACE!!!” Danzel ran to my side. I am so screwed how could I have this again. I slowly limped back to the car, ignoring the pain. “No Hospital” I hated being there. “Okay, I will take you to the gang doctor” I had never actually met anyone in the gang. I have talked to a few over the phone though. I tried ignoring the pain as much as possible “Who was it?” I asked “I don’t know but they are dead now” I knew that but who did they work for “Who sent them can you dig up everything on them” I asked everything starting to go black. “I have sent people to clean him up and find out” f**k it hurts “How long?” I want to know so I can close my eyes “Two more minutes” That is two minutes to long “Hurry” I said fighting my own body. “We are here” That was quick Danzel wrapped his arms around me and ran me up to who knows where. “She was shot hurry” he yelled then placed me onto a bed I felt the sleep stuff go into my arm. I guess I will have another killer scar. I finally was able to open my eyes. The first thing I saw was my patched up stomach “No School?” I said as I saw Danzel. His face practically lit up. “Sorry but no” ugh “Did you find out” I probably should have waited “Yes” I am going to kill them “Who?” He shook his head “Danzel?! Who?!” I want to know “It was Kacy” The f**k!! “What do you mean!” I shouted sitting up ignoring the shooting pain. “She hired the guy” How the f**k? “I didn’t think she was apart of this” I said trying to calm down “She is she is also the one delaying our shipments” he said not wanting me to hear but I did. “I am going to punch that b***h so hard. You can’t stop me” I looked at Danzel “I won’t” Thanks, I hate fighting with him. “How long” I said calming down a bit “Two days” I mean that was fine “Okay” I rested back into the bed “I put this material in you clothes that stops bullets so this won’t happen again. I should have never brought you into this.” I know he shouldn’t have but he did. If he didn’t though I would be dead “No. You should have because if you didn’t I would have met you.” I think I really like him. “I am so sorry but you will have to go to school tomorrow” I walked into that one. “Okay” he must not have heard me though “I know you don’t want to but there is still work and what?” Finally “Too Slow D” I chuckled lightly “You are okay with it?” he asked confused. Not really I want to lay in bed but I know that there is work. “I am fine with it” He came and sat next to me on the bed “You are the strongest person I have ever met.” I chuckled “Only the strongest?” He smiled. God I love his smile. “And the most beautiful and all mine” I laughed. He leaned in and kissed me and I kissed him back. When we pulled away we just looked into each others eyes “Do you want to meet some of the gang?” Yes! “Sure” I slowly got up. Gosh this hurts like a b***h. I walked to the door and opened it. I felt Danzels arm around my shoulder as I walked out. He guided me down to this room with a few people. They stood up as we entered “Hi, Damn James she got shot and she was walking before you.” one of them said to the guy who I guess is james “Twice” Danzel said “Twice? She is much tougher than you james” I laughed “She is pretty to” I smiled as danzel tightened his grip on me. “Hi. I am, as you know, Ace” They smiled taking a seat. So did danzel and I “Want anything?” said a girl walking in “No thanks rose” james said. “Hi I am rose that is Toby, James and Jack. Anna is in the kitchen” I smiled. “Hi rose” I said she handed me a cup of water “Drink” she said sturnley “Thanks” I drank the cup in one go. “She will also out chug you james” Toby said annoying James even more.
