Today Lathif has been allowed to go home since his health has improved – of course – with many notes from the doctor so that we could pay more attention to his food intake and avoid fatigue.
I am in the middle of packing our belongings when the door opens and Adi shows up with a flat face. I did call him, telling him about his son’s return today. I don’t want him to feel left out, with Lathif having a soon-to-be new father.
Adi greets Lathif who is looking at an animal picture book. Then he comes over to me, asking if everything is ready and we can go home now.
