the Devil has returned again

Alexander POV I descended downstairs once again after all the pack members had been gathered as I ordered. She was a rogue… but she was mine. And they had touched something that belonged to me. For that, they would all be punished. My wolf took control, and his aura spread everywhere. He had not felt such rage since Kara’s death. My nails extended into sharp claws. Long fangs protruded from my clenched mouth while my back arched forward. A thick layer of black fur covered my skin. My vision sharpened. I heard frantic heartbeats around me. At this moment, they were facing the most terrifying creature in this world. I do not say that because Valkyr is my Lycan… but because he is the fiercest and strongest Lycan of all. If he were my enemy, I would undoubtedly be dead. My Lycan howled while his opponents began their shifts. I waited, enjoying the fear radiating from them. Seconds passed as the monster unleashed its fury. Everyone around it fell, blood splattered on the walls, and headless corpses littered its feet, yet this did not satisfy the Black Wolf. They had wronged his mate, and he would never forgive them. In a few moments, the Alpha, the Beta, and every soldier before me were lifeless corpses. Despite their numbers, they did not even last a few minutes against him. I ordered my Beta to bring vehicles, clothes, and supplies to evacuate all the women and children to other packs so they would not become rogues. After that, I returned to my human form. A painful tightness clenched inside me, though I did not understand the reason behind that strange feeling. But suddenly, her image appeared in my mind. My possessiveness toward her was dangerous. A new feeling I had never experienced before. My Lycan needed to learn self-control around her, because I would not allow that rogue to influence me. That woman was supposed to become the perfect Luna. Strong. Brave. Ready to fight. And above all, she was supposed to make me proud, not be some weak rogue I would feel ashamed of. I reached the room where I had left her and shoved the door open forcefully before entering. The room was empty. My expression froze for a moment before a cold smile slowly spread across my lips. “So… you want to play a game of cat and mouse, rogue.” I didn’t enter the room. My eyes carefully scanned the area. Her scent was still clearly present. My gaze landed on the door at the end of the corridor. I pushed it open and stepped outside directly, her scent hitting me even stronger. There was a staircase beyond the door. I descended quickly and headed toward a gate leading outside, specifically toward the forest. The moment I reached the forest, I surrendered to my predatory instincts. My Lycan took over and rushed through the woods searching for his favorite prey. The woman whose name I still did not know. She would belong to me forever. I followed her scent easily. “When we find her, you will not hurt her,” Valkyr growled while running through my mind. “Do not worry. I will merely teach her obedience, nothing more. I will make her abandon all rogue matters,” I replied seriously. I stopped abruptly before shifting back into my human form immediately. The smell of blood was so strong, I took cautious steps through the trees until my eyes fell upon her. The body of an old woman lay on the ground, covered entirely in blood. I crouched down beside her, my eyes narrowing sharply as I examined the wound near her heart. It was definitely a dagger wound. "She was killed a short while ago," I muttered coldly, touching the still-fresh blood. But the thing that suddenly made anxiety claw through my chest… was her scent. I lifted my head quickly and began searching between the trees, tracking her trail, but only a short distance away from the corpse the scent completely vanished. “What exactly is happening? The scent disappeared.” I contacted my Beta. “Listen to me carefully,” I said sharply while my eyes kept scanning the trees with caution. “Bring me five Lycans and come immediately to the forest behind Blood Moon Pack’s palace. And tell Zak to bring me the Red Witch here. We might need her.” There was a strange energy in this place… and an unsettling feeling inside me. The sound of fast footsteps cut through my thoughts, and moments later Evan appeared before me, followed by five Lycans. They all bowed immediately upon seeing me. “Your orders, King Alexander.” “Search for the girl I found inside Blood Moon Pack’s palace.” My voice came out sharp and full of command. “I want this entire area completely scanned.” I stepped forward, my eyes growing darker. “Find her… by any means necessary.” He nodded quickly, and after I described her, they all rushed into the forest at high speed. Only minutes passed before Zak appeared out of nowhere with the Red Witch. Zak bowed to me and forced the Red Witch to bow as well. The Red Witch suddenly lifted her head in shock and began looking around wildly. “How…! This is impossible. It can’t be.” I didn’t understand what this damned woman was talking about, but she looked terrified for a reason I couldn’t grasp. I was about to speak when she suddenly whispered in fear, trembling: “He is alive… the Devil has returned again.”
