“For Damien?” Jules snaps.
“Yes. He didn’t ask for this. This was my fault. I was photographed there, and they didn’t get the story from us, so they turned up and blindsided him. I hate him too, but this time, this is not his fault. What is he going to gain from the entire world knowing what an absolute asshole he was? Nothing.” Jasper strokes Ryan’s hand, lifting it to place a soft kiss on his knuckles. “So, I get that this situation is awful, and the timing too. I get it’s all a lot right now, but we’re still in control here. I promise this seems a lot worse than it is. Take a breath. We’ll get through this.”
