“Anyway, I’ve overheard him talking about proposing.”
Jasper gasps at the word. “Proposing? Whoa, that’s so exciting. Congrats.” He grins and hugs Beth tight. He’s shocked to not be hearing this first-hand from Blake, but maybe he’s not sure he can talk so openly about his relationship with Jasper’s ex. Still, Blake hadn’t even mentioned things being this serious. Now that Jasper thinks about it, he realizes how little he’s heard or asked about his best friend’s relationship. “Blake seriously wants to treat you like a Queen. He’ll be a great husband to you.”
“I know, he was texting me a lot when I thought I was talking to you, so I guess I knew him better than I thought all along. He’s so charming and sweet.”
Jasper grins. “He is, but don’t go spreading that. It’ll ruin his reputation.”
