Chapter 27“Well done today, everyone. Remember, we’re starting dress rehearsals next week, so consider your costumes before deciding what to eat over the weekend,” Maria calls as the cast leave the stage. The full run-through had been almost perfect, and Ryan can’t help lamenting that the feedback wasn’t more positive. On his way backstage, he offers some kind words to as many people as he can.
“It’s my wedding anniversary tonight, and I’m pretty sure my wife will divorce me if I don’t eat whatever she’s lovingly whipped up for us tonight. So, I’ll make up for it by not eating tomorrow.” One of the dancers Ryan has been working with states after he compliments her on how she nailed her solo today.
“Don’t starve yourself. I’m pretty sure Maria only meant not to gorge yourself,” Ryan says
