My eyebrows met. Well, that didn’t take too long for him to act rude again, didn’t it? He looked at me then c****d a brow when I wasn’t entering yet. I just gave him an eyeroll then went inside the carriage silently.
To my surprise, he followed shortly. He also entered the carriage then took a seat in front of me. He then closed the carriage door. I looked at him, slightly startled. I thought he was going to seat beside the royal coach but I guess I was wrong. He placed his elbow on the window sill then glanced outside the carriage.
The carriage started moving.
I didn’t say a word to him and neither did he. The situation was awkward, to say the least. In an attempt to relieve some of the awkwardness, I just smoothed the skirt of my dress then glanced out the carriage window.
