Clarisse threw the pillow away from her mouth and laughed in triumph. “Wichita Bradford…,” she screamed, “… you blew my minds far away.” The feeling was back, but not quite the same as it was with Wichita. Clarisse was now fantasizing about Wichita, which had to be odd, because this wasn’t normal. But Clarisse’s mind had tuned into accepting the things which felt greater at that time. The only greater conflict hovering over Clarisse right now was, does she have to go back to Wichita? Not after everything which had happened, she wouldn’t consider it.
