They sat on the floor in the museum shop, looking at each other. The faint sound of the pterodactyls clawing and biting at the museum doors still echoed through the corridors. Daniel wondered when they would get bored and give up. The boy looked scared. He wore glasses, and he kept taking them off and fiddling with them. They were bent and scratched, and didn’t look much use anymore. But he kept putting them back on again and then taking them off to fiddle with them some more.
