Gwen walked into the library for the first time, her nose wrinkled. The cool, stale air of the office/library almost immediately slid around her. She could tell this area of the home had been closed for a while and was once used more frequently by a male. At least, that’s how her mother had decorated it. Right off, she saw it was a lovely size. It had a large dark mahogany desk with an old IBM desktop computer on top of it, a pencil holder, and a calendar. There was an oversized leather chocolate swivel desk chair and a leather sofa like the one in the hallway. When visitors came, they sat and waited to be called into the room. They also had a leather wingback chair beside the sofa, which Gwen deemed the counselor's chair. A long coffee table with several lamps was placed around the room
