New Life New Mate

Chapter Eighteen

The last month has been full of training, business meetings, touring and buying homes, my parents came to see me at the pack and Jaymin recognized my mother. We have decided to hold off telling everyone that I am apparently heir to the throne. But now today is the mating ball and wolves from all over have been arriving the last couple days. Some are camping on our land while some have chosen to get hotel rooms in town. The omegas have already got everything set up early so the unmated could get ready for the ball.

After showering I step into my simple but elegant blue-gray formal gown. Tonight is not about me so I chose simplicity, the gown is floor length with a split up to my lower thighs, with lace shoulders and sleeves. My hair is put up in a bun with curls spilling out, my makeup done simply with gray eyeshadow black eyeliner and mascara and nude lipstick. Luke comes out of the closet wearing a blue gray button down shirt, black slacks black vest and black tie. He is looking good. Luke stares at me for several minutes not moving.

"Is everything okay Luke?" I ask getting scared something is wrong. He doesn't answer, just keeps staring. "Luke, earth to Luke… ALPHA!" I yell the last part finally snapping him out of his daze.

"Sorry you just look so beautiful." Luke smiles at me.

"You always say that," I roll my eyes at him and turn around ready to leave.

Luke wraps his arms around and starts kissing my neck causing me to moan. "Today you look even more beautiful than ever. I could take you right here."

" Luke…*moan* we.. *moan* we.. need..*moan* go.. it's time…" I can barely breathe let alone talk.

He stops his attack on my neck and lets me go, I turn to face his pouting face. "I know beautiful, but I will have you tonight," he winks before walking out. I quickly change my panties before I leave rolling my eyes at no one in particular.

When Luke and I get down to the lawn the party has already started. Many young wolves are talking, dancing, and few look like they found their mates already. We make our way to the DJ booth where I take a mic and the music is cut.

"You guys couldn't wait for the Alpha and Luna to start the party?" Everyone stops, looking scared like they are in trouble. "I am kidding. I am glad to see so many of you having such fun. Now can we please give thanks to former Luna Jaymin who put this all together before I began as luna." Cheers erupt from the crowd, I wait for them to settle down. "I see some of you have already found your mates, that is wonderful. Remember the night is young. Have fun and be safe. No marking or mating without consent." With that the music starts up again and Luke grabs my hand pulling me away to go for a walk. 

Luke practically drags me into the forest. "Luke, where's the fire?" Once we are outta sight he pushes me against a tree pinning me. He begins to kiss me with such desire. He moves to kiss my neck causing moans to fill the air. Luke rips the slit in my dress so it reaches my hips then picks me and I wrap my legs around his waist feeling the stiffness barely contained in his pants. Luke grinds against me. Making me soak a second pair of panties tonight. Luke reaches between us and rips the thin fabric tossing it to the ground. Then he unzips his pants releasing himself before he buries himself deep inside me. I can hear the music, the sound of people laughing, my dress tearing as my back slides against the tree. Our grunts and moans fill the air. The thought that we could get caught any minute excited me more. It doesn't take long before Luke and I meet our climaxes together. 

Out of breath I look down at my dress and it is shredded, I can't even see how bad the back of it is. "Luke you ruined my dress. I can't go back through the party looking like this."

He looks me over smiling, "Your right, I will go get you something to change into. Just wait for me here." I nod my head and find a downed tree to sit on. Luke bends down kissing my forehead before running off towards the pack house. 

I am waiting for Luke to return when I hear a noise of twigs snapping. I don't smell Luke, he smells of rain, I do smell a mix of coffee and vanilla. Rose is howling excited making it hard for me to think. It is dark now and I can't see anything through the trees. I hear a soft female voice say "mate?" A question in their voice. Awe someone found their special someone. I close my eyes trying to focus on the smell of my special person. I can smell him, he is far away still probably trying to sneak out of the pack house with my clothes. 

All of a sudden I feel lips on mine, Rose purring, I feel the familiar mate tingle but this is not Luke. These lips are soft, this body pressing against me is dainty and the smell is that vanilla coffee. I open my eyes shocked to find a beautiful young woman in front of me. She pulls away from the kiss when I don't kiss her back. She blushes, Goddess she is adorable. I blush as well, confused by my feelings for her. I feel the mate pull but I already have a mate. She sees my confusion and her eyes get teary. Is she afraid I will reject her? 

"Beautiful I got you some jeans and a tank t…" Luke freezes when he sees us. Our bodies still close. 

The mystery woman stares at Luke. They both say "mate," then she looks at me "mates?" Good I am not the only one confused.

"Luke, do you know what is going on?" I ask.

He looks between us, "Are we all feeling the mate bond?" We both nod our heads. "Well s**t. Okay Ana, beautiful, get changed then all of us need to go talk about this.."

"So you're not going to reject me?" Her voice is sweet, so innocent. I look at her for the first time, taking her in. She is short, even shorter than me, maybe 5 foot 2 where I am 5 foot 5 and Luke is 6 foot 4. Her hair is long straight and blonde down to just above her butt, here eyes are green, like the color of grass, vibrant almost glowing. She has a small frame with just the right amount of curves to not be a stick. 

Luke seems to be looking her over too, "We will not reject you, not when we don't even know you." She sighs relieved. I grab the clothes from Luke and go behind a tree to change. If it where just Luke I would change right there but I don't know this girl or how she will react. Once I am done changing I come back to meet my mates, wow feels weird, I have two mates. I start laughing remembering the library seen I cought the boys watching, maybe Luke can live it out.

"What's so funny beautiful?" Luke looks at me like I am crazy.

"Oh nothing just remembered the video from the when we set the cameras up at the library and our conversation about it," Luke blushes, why is it so sexy for a man to blush. "Come on let's go…  I am sorry but I never got your name." 

"Oh um I'm Opal," she says all shy. It's hard to believe that she had the guts to kiss me.

"Well then Opal, I am Ana and that is Luke. We should go speak in private, there are many things to discuss. This is new to me as well, Luke and I have been together only two months and I was human before so the whole mate thing is different for me." I grab Opals arm and start leading her to the pack house.

I lead her to our bedroom with Luke following behind us. "Wait this is the Alpha floor." Opal looks between us. "Are we allowed to be here? I don't want to be in trouble."

"Yes it is the alpha floor and yes we are allowed here because I am the Alpha of this pack and Ana is Luna." Luke says matter of fact like. Shock, fear, and so many emotions flash in Opals eyes.

She begins to hyperventilate, "Hey Opal, look at me," I tell her. "Breathe it's ok, we will not hurt you not reject you. We do not know you, or your story. Nothing but talking will happen tonight." She nods her head still worried.

Once in our room I lead Opal to the couch sitting down next to her. Luke sits on the coffee table looking at us both in wonder. "So.." I don't know how to approach the conversation but it needs saying. " I guess start with your back story, where are you from, your age, parents, pack? You know, help us know who Opal is."

"Well um like I said my name is Opal, I am 20 years old. I used to belong to the Ice Forrest pack in Alaska. I ran away when I turned 18 and shifted for the first time. My parents died when I was 6 and since then I was on my own. I pulled seeds out of the trash and had my own garden by the river on pack grounds I would fish and trap. My pack always said I was such a burden even my parents died to get away from me." Opal starts to tear up before continuing, "anyways I knew there would be a matting ball at a pack in Spokane. I spent two years hitchhiking and working small gig jobs to earn money to get here. Then I followed my instincts that lead me here. I was shocked when I saw Ana and realized the mate bond I followed into the woods was a woman. I mean I think you are gorgeous but I never really thought I was lesbian but I thought, the moon goddess doesn't make mistakes. Your eye were closed as you sniffed the air. The way your dress looked I thought someone hurt you. I got mad, I decided to kiss you," she blushes, "to I guess say you don't need to be hurt anymore." Her eyes are watching the floor. "I came here hoping to either find my mate or at least a pack to accept me. I have been rouge since I left, I have started feeling the mind slip that happens before becoming fully rouge. Then when you, Luke, appeared I thought you both would reject me. Why would someone want an outcast like me if they already have a mate you know?"

Luke grabs her hands, she looks up at him shock in her eyes, "you are welcome in our pack. I will not mate or mark you and neither will Ana unless we all feel ready for that. You can have your own room on this floor and maybe Ana would like to have you as her helper with the Luna duties. She grew up as a human and doesn't fully understand everything pack life entails."

Opal looks to me as if asking if I agree with Luke. "I would love to have some help. I don't know if a pack can have two Lunas though," Luke shakes his head no, "well than I guess assistant to the Luna is best I can offer you. I think it would be good." Opal gets so excited she giggles. I give her a kiss on the cheek the Luke leans in and kisses her other cheek. She seems happy and I am glad, her life has been hard and she seems to so sweet and loving I think she deserves happiness.

"Well let me show you your room Opal and we shall have your things brought up. Where did you leave your belongings?"

"Oh um I don't have anything, I sold it all to have bus fair to get to Spokane. I used the last of my money on this dress." Opal shly says. 

I walk off to my closet and grab a pair of booty shorts and tee, then a nice summer dress. "Here you go, something to sleep in plus something for tomorrow. We shall go shopping tomorrow and get you more." I say handing the clothes over.  

"Oh you don't have to do that really I can earn some money and get myself some things." Opal says shaking her head.

"Nonsense we are having a girl's day tomorrow. We will see you for breakfast tomorrow. Then we will get ready to go." I smile then give her a small peck on the lips.

"Come on doll let's get you set up in your room" Luke says holding her hand leading her out of the room. I watch from our door as Luke shows her the room next to ours. Before he walks off he bends down giving her a soft gentle kiss then says "good night doll, I will see you at breakfast." He walks back to our room stripping down to his boxers before jumping in bed. He lets out a big sigh.

"What is it Luke?" I ask a I slip out of my clothes and into an oversized tee.

"Two mates. I wait ten f*****g years and now I have two mates. She is so young and innocent. I don't know how to act. Ty wants to mate her right now but I want to give her time to adjust."

I crawl in next to Luke, "Right I can not believe it. I think you really like her though."

"Why do you say that?" Luke rolls to his side to look at me.

"Simple, you already have a pet name for her." I say smiling at him. "Good night Luke, maybe you can have a good dream," I wink before allowing sleep to take me.
