SELENE’S POV:
Maya fell in step next to me and I tried not be freaked out by the slightly murderous look in her eyes.
I learned by now that it was her signature look.
“What?” I demanded when she made no effort to speak for another whole minute.
We acted like we didn’t knew each other during school hours and I only cashed in on my leverage when no one was around.
“Did you tell Theo anything?” She asked, her voice a whisper, her nose ring glinting almost maliciously. I hadn’t known nose rings could do that but with Maya, I suppose anything was possible.
“With our new arrangement working so well, why would I want to ruin it?”
