At the Dinner Table

They met outside Rimi's room and off they went.
Rimi's room was closer to the hostel gate and so her room was their Hotspot. Both thought of twinning by wearing blue jeans and a white shirt with a pony.
Ignisia had informed PJ about the last-minute changes in the plan for dinner and had said bye just before Rimi came out from her room. She didn't want Rimi to know about her friendship with PJ at this moment.
The canteen was just around the corner. Both of them walked their way to the canteen. Space around was so energetic and full of life. Never had Ignisia been to some canteen with so many students around. In fact, she remembered that only once or twice she went to some restaurant with her family for lunch or dinner. The menu was hung at the entrance itself. Ignisia started wondering what to have when she felt someone patting her from behind.
"So, what will you have for dinner? I think we can have the noodles or fried rice?" asked Ignisia.
"No, I would prefer the Banana Oatmeal!"
Ignisia turned around to find that it was PJ.
"Do you remember my friend PJ, we met yesterday at the party?"
"Yeah!" Ignisia said without showing much enthusiasm.
"He and his friend is going to join us for dinner. I know you won't mind." Rimi whispered to Ignisia.
Ignisa didn't reveal her expressions, but she was going all crazy inside her head. So many questions were popping inside her little head. Why, when, how? PJ had shaved his little beard, whatever he had. Was it because Ignisia had complimented his profile picture on f*******:? She thought to herself. She felt really special and a broad smile was on her face. Ignisia then noticed the other guy with PJ who was just behind him.
The four of them walked to the table. Ignisia sat beside Rimi and the other two guys took the seat opposite them. They sat in the middle of the room. At the far end, Ignisia could spot some bookshelves and some indoor games kept by the side.
"If you are interested, we can come for playing billiards someday! they have a section on the opposite side for it. there are some video games too, which you can try!" said the guy who cam with PJ.
Ignisia snapped out from her thought. She replied, "AH! so you can read my mind."
"Nah! I am just a good observant." He sighed.
"Oh, Ignisia this is my friend Sameer, and you already know Ignisia better than us" laughed PJ.
"It seems you both have some telepathic connection," smirked Rumi.
"Shall we order, please? Are you seriously going to have that banana oatmeal? shouldn't we be having it at breakfast?" Ignisia said to PJ in an attempt to divert the topic.
"We don't discriminate between the food we eat. We consider all food to be legible to eat at any time of the day." winked PJ.
"Okay! I see what you guys are doing. you people will make me die of hunger here."
"Everyone just relaxes and let me do the orders!" ordered Rimi.
By the time the food came, Ignisia got to know that Sameer was in PJ's biology class and they were roommates.
All four of them, after having their dinner, walked together to the girl's hostel, from where the two girls went inside and the boys went their own way.
As soon as the boys left, Ignisia asked Rimi, "Did you know they were going to come?"
"yes! PJ made that dinner plan. He said he was getting bored and would like to catch up."
"Okay!"
"I don't feel sleepy at all. Just feel like doing something but I am not sure of what."
"Yeah, you slept most of the day and hence no sleep. By the way, I wanted to talk to you about that Sameer guy."
"What about him?"
"I just don't know. I felt that all the time he was looking at me. I was just trying to avoid staring back into his eyes."
"Is that so? I didn't notice."
"I don't know. Just have a weird feeling about him."
"What kind of weird?" Rimi asked jokingly "Is it because he could read your mind?" Rimi laughed.
"NO silly, I don't know. It's just the vibe. And let me tell you I am never wrong about it."
"Oh! so okay. I will talk to PJ and try to get more information about this Sameer guy of yours." Rimi winked.
"No, no, it's just fine. I just wanted to share it with you. And now that I have, I need to go back to sleep. Don't you remember tomorrow's run?"
"Ah! are we seriously going to do that? I even forgot about it."
"Come on! it will be fun. If you want you can sleep the whole day tomorrow, given that we don't have any classes."
"Yeah, that's true. I can do that."
"Okay then, see you tomorrow at 6?"
"Just give me a call when you wake up so that I can get ready on time."
"sure."
Ignisia went to her room. As she sat on her bed, she checked the time. It's almost ten. She opened f*******: to find a text from PJ- "Today was fun. GOOD NIGHT."
she replied to him with a goodnight message and opened his sss account. She checked out the friend's list searching for Sameer but couldn't find him there. Does he have an account with some other name? she wondered.
Sameer had long hairs with a stubble beard. He was taller than PJ and his muscles were well built. Ignisia didn't notice him earlier, but when he suggested playing games, she felt a little awkward. It was since then, she would look at him indirectly between the conversations and always found him staring at her. She had this weird feeling about him. What kind of weirdness, she was still unclear about it. She even checked on her phone camera if there is anything wrong with her face that might have caught his attention, but found that everything was just fine.
Thinking about Sameer and searching for him on f*******:, she finally slept.
